Account Deletion

This text is a translation for information purposes only; the Turkish text is binding.
You may request the deletion of your Attendify+ account and your data on the server in the following ways.
Deleting from the app (recommended)
You can delete your account instantly from within the app, without corresponding with us:
- Tap the “Delete account” link on the Account card in the Settings screen.
- Enter your password to confirm that the account belongs to you; if you created your account with Google or Apple, sign in again with that provider.
- Once you confirm, your account and all your data on the server are deleted immediately and permanently; the data on this device is also deleted.
If you cannot access the app
- Send an email to yazilimkodjet@gmail.com from the email address registered with Attendify+.
- Write “Account Deletion Request” in the subject line.
- Once your request has been verified, your account will be deleted without delay, within 30 days at the latest, and you will be informed by email.
If you use the app as a guest
If you have not created an account, there is no data belonging to you on the Company’s servers; your term, course, attendance, event and note data is only on your device. When you remove the app from your device, this data is also deleted.
What is deleted?
- Account information: email address, first and last name, profile photo, school email address, password hash, verification codes, session keys and Google/Apple sign-in links (with Sign in with Apple, the authorization at Apple is also revoked).
- App data: terms, courses, course schedule, attendance records, reasons, exams, homework and meetings, notes and all photos, files and voice notes attached to notes, Pomodoro sessions.
- Explore and community data: Explore posts and their attachments, share links, likes, saves and reports, community memberships, and likes and votes on announcements.
What is retained for a period?
- Server access and transaction security logs: 2 years (Law No. 5651); erased or anonymized at the end of the period.
- Copies in backups: destroyed by overwriting at the end of the backup cycle.
- Feedback you have sent: its link to your account is removed; the message and images are kept as a request record.
- Correspondence regarding your deletion request: 3 years.
